family and friends for their favorite grilled foods, and burgers are sure to
come up. To assure your burgers live up to expectations:
- Start with fresh ground
meat that has no dark spots or unpleasant odors.
- Handle the meat lightly
as you shape it.
- For even-size patties,
divide the meat into equal mounds and press down on each mound with the palm
of your hand. Round off the edges of your fingers.
- During grilling, resist
the urge to press down on the patties with a spatula. This squeezes out the
flavorful juices and can result in dry, tough burgers.
Follow these simple tips,
and you're on your way to delicious burgers. Add buns, all your favorite fixins,
